Dubbed the biggest awards show of the year, Kfm 94.5 invited the people of Cape Town to vote across 30 categories for the 2022 Best of the Cape Awards. No funny business, just you choosing the Mother City’s finest. And Cape {town} Etc is adding to the gees by proudly supporting each winner.

Best Wine Brand winner: Durbanville Hills Cellar

According to one voter, Durbanville Hills is the taste of “Cape Town in a bottle”. If that’s any indication, you can bet that each creation is sensational. Steeped in history and boasting perfect terrains for world-class wine, this is undoubtedly one of the Mother City’s most treasured gems.

The unique location of Durbanville Hills, located just 20 minutes from Cape Town’s city centre, offers not only spectacular views of Table Mountain and Table Bay, but also an extraordinary terroir for growing grapes. Like their Sauvignon Blanc that excels in cool conditions against the south-facing slopes, and their range of reds that benefit from the warmer northern slopes.

Today, Durbanville Hills is one of the most dynamic wine farms in the Cape. The setting is second to none, and everything produced on the property is pure quality, including its renowned restaurant, The Tangram.
