The much-anticipated Rugby World Cup kicked off with a thrilling encounter as the South African Springboks took on Scotland in a Pool B clash in Marseilles.
With high expectations for both teams, the match lived up to the pre-game excitement, delivering intense action and drama on the field.
The opening half of the match saw both teams displaying great determination. South Africa dominated early, controlling possession and territory. However, the Scottish defence proved resilient, holding off the Springboks’ attacks. South Africa managed to secure a narrow lead through two penalties kicked by Manie Libbok.

Scotland launched an intense late-game surge, challenging the Springboks’ defence. However, South Africa held strong, thwarting Scotland’s efforts.
In the end the Boks secured a hard-fought 18-3 win over Scotland. This exciting encounter sets the stage for what promises to be an exciting Rugby World Cup.
