A 5km walk around the Rondebosch Common will be held on Saturday, 22 April to commemorate World Earth Day and to encourage physical and mental well-being by spending time outdoors.

The walk will be held by the University of Cape Town’s Disability Service unit in partnership with the Students with Disabilities Forum. Members of the campus community, their families and friends are invited to participate.
The event starts at 10am at the Rustenburg Girls High School side of the Rondebosch Common, which is easily accessible for wheelchair users and open to all members of the campus community as well as the public. Volunteers from the Disability Service unit will be available on the day to assist participants with disabilities.
