Happening on the same day will be the live screening of the match where arch-rivals, the Springboks and All Blacks, will battle it out for a fourth global title at the 2023 Rugby World Cup final in France.
The ‘Osama’ hitmaker took to social media to announce that amid a day filled with history-making entertainment, the DHL stadium will transform into the country’s biggest fan park, where the final will ‘co-headline’ the Abantu Music festival so concertgoers won’t have to miss out either way.
‘It’s with great pleasure and excitement that we announce the country’s biggest fan park and World Cup Final screening at the DHL Stadium. We will be screening the full game,’ said Bantwini on X.

With plans to keep the concert beats flowing and growing for the next three years, the music festival is the manifestation of Bantwini’s vision to create an inclusive, well-rounded event for the people that boasts a unique flavour and brings together different artists from various genres for all to enjoy.
‘We’ve created something special, and I can’t wait for everyone to experience what we have in store. Abantu was created for the people and with the surprises we have in place, I’m confident we’ve curated a uniquely South African concert for the books,’ said Bantwini.
