Giving is Living will be holding a major fundraiser, the Pieces for Paws Charity Art & Experience Auction, on March 16 in Melkbosstrand. The event which will see unique artworks by both renowned and up-and-coming South African artists going up for bids.

Attendees can look forward to live music and entertainment from magician and illusionist Russel Fox as well as canapés, wine and gin, accompanied by the evening’s host, Joey Burke, an auctioneer who has previously featured in an episode of Come Dine With Me SA.

Over 70 pieces from artists such as Anton Smit, JD Ross, Wilma Cruise, Tony de Freitas, Christopher Reid, Richard Scott, Hennie Niemann SNR, and many more will be on auction.

The Pieces for Paws auction will be raising money for Mdzananda Animal Clinic, Wolwerivier Outreach Work and SANCCOB.

Guests will also have the opportunity to bid for one-of-a-kind experiences throughout the evening.

Co-founder of Giving is Living, Shankar Puri says, “We are so excited to be hosting our first major fundraiser. We have been humbled by the support from local artists and businesses, who have all donated in some way to help us raise funds for some wonderful organisations.
