Three people were shot and killed in a Lotus River shop on Wednesday afternoon [September 9]. The incident reportedly occurred at a local fishery business.
According to reports by Eyewitness News, two of the victims were followed into the shop on the corner of Klip and Zeekoe roads by unknown gunmen. Several shots were then fired inside the shop, leaving two dead.
A third man was also killed. He is believed to be an employee of the fisheries outlet.
The motive for the shooting is not yet known.
