As a self-proclaimed dog mom, I’m always looking forward to the next big adventure in Cape Town, where my two rascals can roam around freely and explore to their heart’s content writes Cape {town} Etc’s Micayla Vellai.
And after doing some digging on social media, I discovered a scenic paradise nestled in Durbanville, and I’m already planning my next journey!
Boland Dam has a new doggy training park, but that’s not all. Shaded picnic tables, jungle gyms, and pathways for walkers and mountain bikers are the name of the game here, which means ultimate fun for the entire family!
Bring your kids along to keep their busy bodies moving, or embrace the majestic scenery that lies before your eyes. The big shady spots are great for picnics, and the park is also enclosed with fencing.
Since then, so many enthusiastic locals have been planning their doggy play dates, while expressing the most excitement after discovering this breathtaking gem!
So what are you waiting for? Your weekend adventure awaits!
Location: Boland Street, off Murray street in Vierlanden (there’s off street parking at the entrance).
