According to the pictures that are circulating, Masebenza was spotted begging on the streets of Pretoria Central Business District.
Masebenza was once dubbed as one of the best actors to perform on the South African small screen, however, that all changed in 2015 after reports emerged that he was mentally unstable which resulted in him living on the streets.
Do you remember him?

Masebenza was known for his many TV roles in soapies and dramas like Generations and Scandal. However, it was his appearance in a Savanna cider TV advert that really launched his career and that earned him the title of Savanna brand ambassador.
This is one of the most classic adverts by Savanna Cider.
It’s so sad to see Hugh Masebenza in that situation.
Let’s hope someone will come through and help him out of that predicament asap. pic.twitter.com/D5flHEIO0n
