The township of Khayelitsha in Cape Town has been rocked by yet another shooting incident on Friday,8 April.
The latest shooting incident comes after eleven people have been gunned down in the area since March.
According to police spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg, Harare police were called out to a crime scene in Mandela Park where they found the victims with gunshot wounds to their bodies.
“The two males were declared deceased on the scene by paramedics. The other victims were taken to a medical facility for medical treatment,” Twigg said.
Twigg said the victims were between the ages of 28 and 40 years old.
Meanwhile, police have already arrested one person in connection with one of the shootings. 35-year-old Thando Shuba faces six charges of murder in connection with the shooting incident at the Enkanini informal settlement, News 24 reported.
