Since the announcement of stage 6 load shedding, students have found it extremely difficult to adjust to the power being off for periods of as long as four hours.
Some students have taken to Tiktok and dealt with their grief the way South Africans do best – with comedy.
“Being a uni student right now in South Africa is realising you’re only going to school or to campus for two hours,” said one student.

On the brighter side, at least load shedding will get students to procrastinate less!

Meanwhile, another Tiktok user and student, @giftbozekana1, said “students’ laptops are like fridges – they need plugs to work!”
