Platteklip Gorge, Table Mountain
Do your part on Mandela Day and participate in Save our Trails, an international movement starting up in Cape Town to save and conserve our beautiful hiking trails.
Cape Town is known for having stunning natural sites and there is no better place to observe the beauty of the city, get fit or spend time with loved ones than on one of Table Mountain’s trails.
But with our trails becoming so popular among locals and tourists, the conservation and respect for the trails is paramount.
If you’re an environmental enthusiast and concerned about the protection of our natural sites, join the Save Our Trails initiative and get stuck in at one of the clean-ups, where you’ll pick up litter, clean graffiti, prevent erosion and make documentaries on each clean-up to promote awareness of the campaign.
