Fine dining has always had a reputation for being inaccessible to the average Joe. After all, not everyone has an impeccable posture and countless tuxedos hanging in their closet. Thankfully, Foxcroft Restaurant has endeavoured to shatter this stereotype by creating a “casual” dining experience that leaves patrons feeling welcomed and at home.
Who wouldn’t enjoy munching on a scrumptious dish of red-braised pork with white cabbage and crispy shallots?
The Food:
It’s been a whirlwind few months for restaurants. With numerous restaurant closures due to lockdown restrictions, Foxcroft has adjusted its menu to ensure that patrons receive the best quality foods. The best part about this restaurant is that they’re passionate about providing food that’s bursting with flavour and both that’s great for the environment and your body. They work alongside the best local farmers, personally selecting each ingredient to produce dishes that are out of this world.
To whet your appetite, choose between market fish crudo slathered in Malay dressing or blesbok tataki with a BBQ mushroom parfait. The mains are incredible and a choice between red-braised pork and herb-crusted line fish – yum! They’re not done with you yet though because dessert is still on the menu. Poached Guava and whipped Isabello with cashews and cacao nibs are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Those who prefer chowing on their veggies are not left out of this flavourful goodness, as Foxcroft offers a delicious plant-based menu. All this for R395 per person? You bet we’re going to dinner!

There’s nothing wrong with wanting to curl up in front of the television while donning your favourite pair of PJs and stuffing your face with good food. After all, we’re living in strange times, and COVID-19 has allowed us to live out our sloth dreams – guilt-free.
Foxcroft at home is an incredible way to indulge in good food while never leaving your house. For the same price, patrons have the opportunity to enjoy Foxcroft’s mouth-watering food while lazing about on the couch – heaven! They offer delivery or pickup.
