Entrancing, mesmerising, sinus-inducing – simple words used to describe the natural phenomenon that is the West Coast “flower show”. The colourful spectacle takes place each year from August to mid-September, and with September 1st officially ushering in Spring, there are only a few more weeks left to gaze upon this multicoloured blanket of dreams.

There’s no question that prancing about in a field of flowers sounds like a scene out of The Sound of Music, but it’s certainly an item we’ve added to our bucket list.
