Babies R Us has recently launched wellness clinics in selected stores, making them the kingdom of all things baby.
While the initiative was trialled in May at Durban’s Gateway mall, and later in East Point (Gauteng), the Western Cape is the next on the wellness wish list, as per IOL.
According to Ronel Grant, BRU Wellness professional:
“[BRU’s] range of services are geared towards holistic care – whether you are planning a family, pregnant, or seeking resources on caring for your children. We offer moms, a safe and calm environment, to consult with a professional nursing sister about health concerns.”
Essentially the end goal for Babies R US is to create one destination for the myriad of needs that budding parents, mothers and the baby all have.
Additionally, it’s a powerful incentive that makes it far easier for mothers to access versions of medical care.
Some of the services include:
- Pregnancy vitals checkups
- Post-natal checkups
- Caesarian wound assessments
- Infant milestone advice
- Breast Examinations
- Pap smears
- Practical tips on caring for their child
- Sleep and potty training advice
- Minor ailment treatment
You can book a wellness appointment, or check out their wellness products via their website.
