When the end of the week comes around, there’s nothing better than a relaxing spot with live music, good food and great drinks. The Cullinan is offering just that every Friday, plus bottomless cocktails.
Stella Sessions at The Cullinan’s Stella Restaurant and Bar helps locals usher in the weekend with a unique snack platter and bottomless Cullinan cocktails. From 5pm until 7pm every Friday the pool area at the Cullinan Hotel in the heart of Cape Town becomes the place to be.
Colourful cocktails flow and a unique “Snack Stack” is served at every table with three levels of deliciousness waiting to be discovered.
A vegetarian option is available on request and no matter your palate preference, you’re in for a treat.
Delightful rice paper wraps packed with avocado and fresh vegetables make up the top tier served with two salmon paté canapés.
The middle tier is comprised of two miniature beef burgers and two miniature boerewors rolls along with onion smoor. The vegetarian option substitutes soy for the meat.
Your last tier will offer four chili pot stickers and six chicken lollipops paired with a perfectly suited tikka dipping sauce.
As the evening continues, so does the cocktail pouring and guests can enjoy an array of unique Cullinan concoctions while the live band sets the mood.
Four signature cocktails will be served throughout the Stella Sessions. First is a Berry Fizz mixed with fresh berries, vodka, a spritz of lime and a splash of Indian tonic.
Next, you’ll have the pleasure of enjoying an Elderflower Spritzer with gin, Elderflower syrup and tonic served with a sprig of rosemary.
After that a Mint Mojo is served with fresh lime-infused syrup, rum, spearmint leaves, lime wedges and finished off with Indian tonic.
Last but certainly not least you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a Stella Sunrise with a dash of coconut syrup, rum and Indian tonic topped with a slice of fresh pineapple. Although there are fours signature drink options, the cocktails are all bottomless.
The order of different cocktails compliments each other and this whole experience will only cost you R220.
By the end of the evening, you’ll have had all you can eat plus more than you thought you could drink. With no regrets, we guarantee you’ll be back for another Stella Session soon.
