To identify the top venues for rugby fans, Betway Insider analysed 30 international stadiums. This study considered factors like Google review scores, capacity, accessibility and affordability to ascertain the best overall fan experience.
Cape Town Stadium, now called DHL Stadium, was named fourth in Betway’s Top 5 Global Rugby Stadiums for Fans ranking, standing out with a Google review score of 4.6 and over 20 000 Instagram posts.

Cape Town Stadium was also lauded as the eighth-most affordable stadium globally, with the average cost of attending a game being less than £77.
The venue was constructed in 2010 for the FIFA World Cup; it has been the official ground for Western Province Rugby and the DHL Stormers since 2021. It also serves as a base for two of Cape Town’s soccer teams.
