Cape Town’s star is grooving his way into the spotlight after being signed as a professional dancer for season 19 of Strictly Come Dancing UK.
This is another accolade added to Cameron Lombard’s shiny list of achievements. The 20-year-old superstar is the reigning South African Latin Champion and has won 18 national titles across Ballroom and Latin during his dance career.
Cameron started moving his feet from the tender age of 6-years-old, and within a year, he was already winning local and regional competitions as BBC notes – talk about talent!
He is now taking those impressive moves to the Strictly Come Dancing UK dancefloor, and we couldn’t be happier for him!
Cameron shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, giving the bright and beautiful Mother City a huge shout-out! He wrote:

Cameron told the BBC: “I am excited beyond imagination and looking forward to leaving my mark on the dance floor!”
Some of the other dancers are from the Ukraine, Poland and the UK.
Cameron was also a finalist on South Africa’s Got Talent in 2012, and he represented our country at the World Championships in 2019, as per The Scottish Sun.
