Conrad Koch is bringing some joy to the Mother City as he continues his tour of Ramapuppet at Theatre on the Bay. Brace yourself for some serious laugh out loud moments with this local-is-lekker show that pokes fun at the hurdles South Africans face.
From Zoom meetings to lockdowns, alcohol bans and looting, Ramapuppet is bound to have you crying tears of laughter with an hour of delightful, gut-wrenchingly funny and world-class ventriloquism.
Chester Missing will be making an appearance, along with Hilton, the ostrich who gives relationship advice, Mr Dixon, school teacher of 43 years and Ronnie the rock n roll internet troll.
You can also look forward to the roast of awkward COVID-19 protocols and laser hair removal – so get ready to be left in stitches!
“Conrad is hugely excited to be touring his latest roll-in-the-aisle hour of hilarity, RAMAPUPPET! Because, in the almost 2 years of lockdown we have had, we all feel a bit like President Ramaphosa, flailing around with his mask over his eyes on national television. And if there is one thing that unites South Africans, it’s our ability to laugh! And load shedding,” a press statement read.
The show is family friendly, with a PG13 suggestion, making it a great night out for everyone!
