Get ready, Capetonians! The Community Fire Jam is back and partnered with Fire Tribe, it’s set to happen on Clifton 2nd Beach on Saturday, 29 January from 8am – 10pm.
FireTribe is a professional Flow Arts Performance Group that specialises in Fire and LED shows. They also manufacture Fire and Flow Arts props and teach various Flow Arts disciplines to all ages and levels.
Since first introducing fire dancing to Cape Town’s iconic beaches, FireTribe has performed hundreds of choreographed shows around the country. They have troupes based in Johannesburg and Cape Town and travel locally and internationally.
Their professional and versatile Fire Performances can be adapted to suit the available space and budget of any event. They also offer intimate, interactive experiences with fire for audiences as well as custom made fire sculptures for those who’d like to see their name, logo or initials in giant, fiery lights.
Along with this, their LED Performances make use of ‘pixel’ technology that can display high-resolution images, logos and patterns through the movement of props – how cool?! These LED shows can be choreographed and the equipment fully synchronised to the music, creating a dramatic, futuristic performance – just call us Phil of the Future then.
