Some Sundays are back for season two of their picnic concert series, ready to rumble and showcase South Africa’s finest talent from Goodluck to Matthew Mole and Desmond & the Tutus – and those in the Western Cape won’t want to miss out.
Where:
The Picnic Concert Series brought to us by De Grendel Wines, Devils Peak Beer and Six Dogs gin is set to be hosted at Nooitgedacht Estate outside of Stellenboch. Prepare for gorgeous scenery, vibrant music and a sense of unity as concerts return to their rightful stages after the pandemic’s lockdowns.
Dates:
February 6 will see the first show of the season, starring Goodluck, Grassy Spark, Nic Preen and Jackal & the Wind.
February 20 will see Canadian grown Cape Town favourite Neon Dreams and Majozi grace the stage.
February 27: Early B, Riaan Benade, Koos Kombuis Pietman Gedenhuys will take on the third leg of the concert bringing us everything from music to get you grooving to Geldenhuys wit.
March 21 will see Fokofpolisiekar, aKING and Uncle Spike make our Human Rights Day that much better. Although it is a Monday, the public holiday with Some Sundays promises all the fun of a Sunday session with them.
March 27 invites Matthew Mole, Desmond & the Tutus and Year of the Dogs end of the Picnic series with an absolute bang with a range from indie to funk and pop melodies.
