Collectors and the curious in Cape Town have a festival of toy treasures to look forward to with Geek Culture Market Day just on the horizon.
The collaboration will see the united forces of pop culture enthusiasts. Bianca Louw and Devan Scott as well as Adam Barker (Cape Town Toy Collectors Group) and Mini Toy Fair host are bringing us a buffet of collector favourites.
Comic books, memorabilia, vintage toys, a range of action figures and board games will all be on board for this highlight of geek celebrations in Cape Town.
“Our aim with this market is to create a central space for enthusiasts and collectors with a fun inclusive atmosphere where anyone is welcome, whether they’re a noob or a specialist collector. We hope to showcase a diverse, high-quality selection of vendors & exhibitors,” say the organizers.
If the thrill of awesome collectables wasn’t enough, there will also be an adventure of food and drink specials for the day, hosted by Darling Brew Woodstock. Darling Brew Woodstock is a fine cultural hive serving up vibes and flavour any other day. Highly acclaimed, it earned Best Local Craft Beer at the 2021 Kfm Best of the Cape awards.
Combing these two forces can only mean an epic day for the books and beers.
