Honest Chocolate, the sweetest treat on Wale Street in Woodstock, Cape Town, is set to share some of its delicious secrets with Capetonians.
Anyone who loves artisanal chocolate knows that pure, handmade chocolate is like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for an authentic chocolate experience, void of excessive flavouring and sugar – things that any chocolatier will tell you, take away from the true cacao experience. If you haven’t popped over to Honest Chocolate before, you’re certainly in for a chocolate adventure, drenched in organic goodness and adorned with surprises. HC is your one-stop shop for all chocolate goodies – from chocolate pieces and bars to milkshakes and baked delicacies.
Further, HC is giving us some more good news to chew on thanks to a workshop that’ll treat you to the inside scoop on chocolate making 101 – bonbon edition.
The workshop will take place at HC’s Chocolate Factory in Woodstock, and is set to be a full chocolate trip, taking us from the bean to the chocolate bar’s final product. Taking on the art of chocolate, guests will get dipping and decorating chocolatier style to create and take their own delights onward.
You may not encounter many Oompa-Loompas at this Chocolate Factory (although Woodstock has its own magic) however the experience of the ethically made chocolate promises to be its own kind of an extravaganza.
