While crime on Cape Town’s hiking trails remains a major concern for the city, a Halloween bride that was spotted looming on the mountains may well be the answer to scaring away the skelms.

Earlier this week was a time for trick or treating and many used the opportunity to dress up in their most terrific or terrifying attire.
Among others was a goulish bride that was caught on camera, haunting the hills on her ascent of Lion’s Head.
The images were posted by Fatima Sait on the Hiking Cape Town Facebook page yesterday.

The images soon garnered dozens of comments on the page and were widely shared as users expressed their amusement and bemusement at the unusual crime fighter.
