If you thought that treasure hunts were only for children to enjoy, well, think again! PRET is bringing the fun and excitement to Stellenbosch by hosting a magical event that has a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. PRET directly translates to FUN, from Afrikaans to English, so it comes as no surprise that there’s a whopping R10 000 up for grabs at the Hidden Treasure Stellenbosch event, which will take place on October 16.
You’ll need to bring your A game if you’re looking to participate, and that means exploring the great outdoors in Stellenbosch while solving clues that’ll put your logic and creativity to the ultimate test. The number of clues will be made known on the event so that you’re one step closer to finding that beloved treasure chest.
PRET’s mission is to create fun, have fun, and support the community while doing so, and a large part of this is supporting local businesses in the area. Local is lekker after all! Organising events like Hidden Treasure provides the opportunity to explore everything Stellenbosch has to offer while supporting great local businesses in the process.
Creating a stronger and healthier community is right at the top of PRET’s list, so much so that they are committed to give back and reinvest 50% of all profits in the Stellenbosch community. This will include, but is not limited to scholarships, educational programmes, donations (in the form of education or opportunities), business start-up investments, and fun events. Their first “community partner” is Aitsa! – an exciting endeavour to invest in the lives of kids.
So if you’re keen on an adventure of a lifetime to bag some moola and have tons of fun while doing so, make sure to visit the website to find out more about the cool event hosted by PRET: www.hiddentreasure.lawngames4you.co.za.
