Now that South Africa has moved down to Alert Level 1, more activities are opening up. One of these quintessential Cape Town activities is the Simon’s Town Ghost Walk, which is now fully operational.

The seaside town reportedly has a number of hauntings, and several famous ghosts have been spotted on numerous occasions. According to Love Cape Town, the Simon’s Town Museum is home to a haunted painting of a young woman. Whenever pictures are snapped of the painting, they do not develop. Admiralty House is also known to be home to the spirits of deceased naval officers and a woman in a grey dress.
