The snow that covered several parts of the province, had all Capetonians in a frenzy. YouTuber Luke Maximo Bell and his friend Ben Bingham used the opportunity to create video documenting the picturesque mountains covered in white.
They drove out to Matroosberg Private Nature Reserve near Ceres, which is a two hour drive from Cape Town, to busk in the glory of the snow and snowboard.
Many areas received bountiful amounts of snowfall, Matroosberg received roughly 40cm, Cederberg 40cm and Wellington Sneeukop 50cm. Warm weather starts on Thursday and temperatures will reach a high of 24°C over the weekend.
