The magic and beauty of the moon are universal. Countless epic poems have been written about her translucent beauty, hundreds of Capetonians make the trek up Lion’s Head each month to marvel at this natural wonder, and an array of markets around the Mother City have sprung up in the name of enjoying good food under the moonlight – and there’s nothing Capetonians love more than a good market.
Thankfully, a fan favourite is making a comeback. After a tough year of staying safe and avoiding our favourite spots, Wellington Wines is bringing back their popular Moonlight Market.
Hosted at their magnificent Bovlei Cellars, eager market lovers have the opportunity to meander through stalls filled with artisanal goodies, handcrafted products, and incredible wines. Allow the moonlight to guide you and the music to get your feet moving with Juan Casey ready to take the stage and ensure a night filled with great entertainment.
Make sure you add October 29 to your calendar as the Moonlight Market promises to be a treat. Festivities begin at 5 pm, so ensure you bring your dancing shoes and empty bellies.
