There’s an ethereal zeal in the air of music, and it’s coming from the Ndlovu Youth Choir.
If you thought Adele’s Easy on Me had already tugged at your heartstrings, the song isn’t quite done with your heart just yet.
Recently, the Ndlovu Youth Choir tried their hand at another rendition of the song. It’s soulful, soft, and feels like it belongs in a story as beautiful and tragic as The Lion King.

It seems like South Africans have really taken to Adele’s comeback ballad. Beyond the Ndlovu Youth Choir’s rendition in cerise pink under African trees, there’s another spin of the track on the loose.
After Capetonian DJ, DJ Snow (Shaun Simons) saw the ballad booming on the internet and music charts, he decided to add an upbeat spin to it – and South Africans are obsessed with the sound that’s now also taking over SA TikTok!
Snow’s rendition is more of a groove than something to cry to in the car on the way to work, but if you want to cry in the club or just enjoy a funky Afro-spin on the beat, then take a listen here.
