As a cold front approaches the Western Cape on Friday, residents and visitors might have to plan for an indoor Easter egg hunt this Sunday.
The wet conditions are likely to have an impact on road conditions, so Easter holiday travellers should exercise extra caution on the roads this weekend.

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has reported that the cold front, which is approaching from the west, is expected to reach the province on Friday.
Western Cape residents can expect rainfall around lunchtime, along with winds of between 30 and 50kph.
On Friday, Cape Town can expect a high of 19°C, with temperatures dropping to 17°C on Saturday.
According to the SAWS, the cold front will move across the southern coastline, resulting in cool and rainy conditions in the southern Cape on Saturday and Sunday.
Temperatures in George are expected to fall to 14°C on Saturday and 17°C on Sunday. Highs in Plettenberg Bay will be 16°C and 17°C, respectively.
The SAWS explained that a cold front is not uncommon for the province at this time of year and that one had already made landfall earlier in the month, resulting in cool and wet conditions in the province.
