The rains in the Cape are showing no signs of slowing down, with another two days of delightful downpours on the cards for the Mother City this coming week.

Cape Town will receive scattered showers from Tuesday on to Wednesday next week. Tuesday will be a warmer day with highs of 19°C and lows of 12°C with showers expected to start from as early as the morning.

Wednesday will be slightly cooler with highs of 17°C and lows of 12°C, and locals can also expect rainy weather from the early morning as well.

With dam levels currently at 60.5% many are hoping the coming rains will push the levels past the 65% mark, the coming rains are expected to push overall storage into a new bracket and hopefully increase them by at least 5%.

Locals are advised to bring their umbrellas along for their daily commute and cross their fingers for abundant showers.
