Spring keeps making an appearance then disappearing in the Western Cape, and this week is no different. Temperatures will stay in the late teens for the whole week, then dip to below 15°C on Friday with a 90% chance of rainfall.

The week is filled with partly cloudy days , with the exception of Tuesday and Wednesday which is full of sunshine. The good news is that if you planned to braai on Heritage Day, the weather will play its part – there is no rainfall predicted, and temperatures will reach 18°C.

The weekend is a little chilly, with morning temperatures dropping to a low of 9°C and peaking at 14°C.

With Cape Town’s dams almost full, it is a far cry from three years ago when we almost ran out of water. Needless to say, Cape Town will always be grateful for rainfall, even when the dams are overflowing.
