In the world of boutique hotels, we’re thrilled to announce that there’s a new kid on the block!

A passion project of the highest order, Rupert and Lesley Sykes, have created something wholly unique in Sea Point.

After living and working in London, this couple returned to Cape Town, where their united dream was to create a space that embodies the small details they’re so talented at identifying the importance of.

With nine luxury suites, not one small detail is ever overlooked at Pineapple House. The category of hotel may be boutique, in its description, but that word together with their ‘bespoke’ approach to design and hospitality is what truly sets this place apart.

Lesley, who comes from a creative background of creating her own jewellery line and Rupert, with his experience and passion in residential developments, are the perfect pair to bring a little extra pizzzaz to our beloved Mother City.

Each suite has its own unique identity and the couple have worked hard to make sure this is a space which speaks volumes for its decor and innovative use of space. Set to launch with their world-class team, they’re opening their doors for a busy December season and already have a host of international visitors and VIPs lined up.

Catering to both local and international guests, Pineapple House pays tribute to the suburb it identifies with. Pockets of fun and quirky interiors combine with world-class service and privacy to cater for the Cape Town fans who are after the non-cookie cutter holiday, or even an escape from your everyday, for us locals.
