A tick off his bucket list, Teravainen shares that he has wanted to dive with sharks in South Africa for the longest time and finally got the opportunity to get up close to these creatures in a thrilling and heart-pounding encounter.
Teravainen recounted his experience in a post he shared to social media:’Usually the water is quite clear and blue and you have good visibility. It’s just the luck of the draw. However, the low visibility definitely made for entertaining times. They were like ghosts, swimming around in the murk only feet away from us. Shadows. Then bang! One would charge straight into the cage!! Amazing!!’
