Zahara has been trending once again since taking to the stage at this year’s Bloomfontein’s Macufe Lifestyle Divas Show.
The singer-songwriter performed on Friday 7 October and had on-lookers both online and at the live festival questioning her sobriety.
Since then there have been videos of her singing in a slurred voice circulating social media with comments stating that she was under the influence during her performance.
In response to her accusers Zahara said the videos could have been edited and posted her own version on herself on stage:

The videos of a “drunk” Zahara are said to have been sourced from Facebook Live that could have been impossible to distort.
Other comments onΒ social media were from disappointed and concerned fans saying:
Nna go bua hela nnete Zahara, ke Ngoana wa Ntate Modimo and ke rata nnete. I was deeply disappointed in ur performance, you literally killed my mood for the entire night and I saw how everyone else was disappointed in ur performance. “No no no Zahara Can you be serious for once. Don’t abuse the fact that we love you and always support you. My friend was live there, she sent me the video You were drunk, very drunk. Apologise and get help.”
Others seem to think DJ Sbu is vindicated after his and Zahara’s partnership did not work out:
“Welele this one is worse…what’s next sbu spiked your drink?”
