The excitement is building as the Rugby World Cup Final draws near and one South African company is turning up the heat with a spicy show of support for the Springboks.
Banhoek Chilli Oil Co, known for its premium quality, 100% natural chilli-infused oil, has extended an offer that’s sure to add heat to the Rugby World Cup final.
Among the standout players who have made a remarkable impact during this tournament is Ox Nche. His powerful performance in the semi-finals against England played a crucial role in the Springboks’ path to the final.
Ox Nche has not gone unnoticed by South African brands eager to show their support for the national team, after he, now famously, declared that ‘salads don’t win scrums’ and that cake is one of his favourites.
Woolworths reached out to the prop, offering a year’s worth of free treats, specifically chocolate cake, as a South African priority following his performance in the semi-finals.
Hussar Grill was quick to follow with a year’s supply of steak.

Banhoek Chilli Oil Co has now posted a bold message on Instagram, calling out both the Hussar Grill and Woolworths SA. They acknowledge the awesomeness of the offers made by these establishments but express their readiness to ‘turn up the heat’ ahead of the Rugby World Cup Final.
‘We’ve got something special in store for Ox Nche and the entire @bokrugby team – a whole year’s supply of #banhoekchillioil!’ the company’s Instagram caption reads.

Ox Nche has accepted and a couple of others have acknowledged the post, but as Banhoek Chilli Oil Co emphasises, ‘[One] man doesn’t make a team, and we want to back all the Boks.’
As the nation eagerly anticipates the Rugby World Cup Final, it’s clear that the Springboks have the full support of the nation, in all realms.
