One of the first things you learn when growing up is to look both ways before crossing the street. This fundamental road safety rule has spawned countless Cocomelon and Barney songs, much to the frustration of parents around the world.
Nevertheless, this rule keeps both children and adults safe, ensuring that their chances of being hit by an oncoming car are substantially decreased.
