South African comedian Thulasizwe Dambusa has been the talk of the town thanks to a recent video of his about how South Africans lock their car doors, and we can’t stop laughing.
In the side-splitting video, Dambusa plays a South African lady who drives a VW Polo and simply cannot lock her car enough times.
We feel many locals can relate to this – it references the general public’s worries about prevalent crime in the country, our paranoia about car theft and our need to make sure our car will be safe when we leave it – by doing things like checking repeatedly that it is locked.
Either way, this hilarious skit is one for the books:
