Alcohol consumers across the country are out in droves, as June 1 marks the lift on the alcohol prohibition instated at the beginning of lockdown on March 27.

Now, 65 days later, eager customers are lining up to purchase their favourite alcoholic beverages.

Pictures and videos have been circulating on social media, showing long queues at various liquor stores across the country. Despite this, customers seemed to be in high spirits. Some sang and danced in line as they waited for their turn to once again purchase alcohol.
