14 February: The Proposal at Nooitgedacht Estate
On Valentine’s Day, the Galileo will host a special screening of The Proposal at the Nooitgedacht Estate in Stellenbosch. Mountain and vineyard vistas make the estate an exquisite setting for romantic plans.
Included in your ticket price of only R295 per person is a parcel of treats and a red rose from the florists at Bunches for Africa.
The evening includes live entertainment by saxophonist Kirya Kuti and a welcome glass of Villiera Wines’ Cap Classique bubbly or a refreshing Sir Fruit juice.
Visitors try their luck at the Essence activation booth, where they can spin the wheel for prizes in the form of beauty items or 10% discount codes for the Essence make-up and beauty online store.
Galileo guests are invited to arrive at 5pm to enjoy some bubbly and a shared toast with loved ones.
From there, guests can buy dinner from the on-site mini-market vendors and enjoy it picnic-style on the lawns. Everyone is catered for, with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and halal options available.
Those looking to woo their sweetheart at the Valentine’s Day show can spoil loved ones with the ultimate thoughtful touch: a special note displayed on the big screen. Book your tickets, then complete the form by 8 February.
Those who are unable to travel to the Winelands or celebrate on the actual day can still feel the love through a week-long celebration centred on reigniting romance and a nod to heart-draped decor.
