On stage at the Outlore Base in Cape Town until Sunday, ‘Flughafen’ is a play written by Alice Viskat and brought to life by a quintet of acting talents, merging the humour of screwball comedy with the drama of psychological thrillers.
Set in a deserted German airport terminal, ‘Flughafen’ invites you into a world where time seems suspended. Five strangers, stranded due to a vague flight delay, find themselves in an unforeseen situation.
As they reach out to each other, a series of revelations unravel, exposing hidden truths and forging bonds.

The play’s narrative is a clever concoction of tension and whimsy, oscillating between the claustrophobic confines of a locked room and the realms of human emotion.
The cast features Melissa Pretorius, Josh ‘Yoshe’ Riley, Laura Kelly, Lee van der Merwe and Mihir Soni, each bringing their unique energy to this production.
