The narrative follows Emma, portrayed by award-winning lyric soprano Sian Atterbury and Regina Malan. Emma, from Ilford in East London, heads to New York, looking for love and success.
Through a series of 28 songs, Emma navigates romantic adventures that lead her from Hollywood back to Manhattan, questioning if she’s been searching for love in all the wrong places.

Sian Atterbury’s notable performances include lead roles with the Cape Town Gilbert and Sullivan Society, while Regina Malan, a Stellenbosch University BMus alumna, has starred in numerous productions, showcasing her talent across opera and musical theatre.
Jonathan Walker-Kane, founder of The Endellion Theatre Company, brings his decades of theatrical expertise to South Africa with this production.
His rich background includes directing a diverse range of plays and musicals, making Tell Me On A Sunday a must-see event in Cape Town.
