Are you a pop culture-lover who happens to be in Cape Town at the end of April? Then things have aligned well for you as Comic Con Cape Town takes place between 27 and 30 April this year.
Comic Con Cape Town is hosted by the City of Cape Town and is the first-ever four-day festival celebrating the world of pop culture. This year, Comic Con Cape Town and FanCon, a Cape Town pop-culture convention, will join forces.
Putting the best of gaming, cosplay and shared excitement forward, the weekend will give you a chance to indulge in pop culture merch, comics and an amazing panel programme filled with fun talks and presentations.

The gaming activities at the event will include the Cosplay Regional Championship competition, and the latest gaming gear and accessories will be on sale.
Iconic Marvel and DC Comics comic book artists will be appearing at the event, as well as TV stars and popular actors – whose identities haven’t yet been disclosed.
The 2023 event is not something you want to miss, with Cape Town bringing together a community of pop culture fans for a powerhouse of a festival.
