From 7 to 8 October, the Killarney International Raceway will host a double header of high-octane racing, featuring the world’s top drivers battling it out in ZEROID X1 electric vehicles.
World Rallycross, a unique blend of rallying and circuit racing, promises short, intense races filled with jaw-dropping jumps and twists on a mixed dirt and asphalt track. Set against the iconic backdrop of Table Mountain, this event brings motorsport excitement to the Mother City.

Cape Town is no stranger to the World RX Championship, which made its African debut in 2017 and returned in 2019. With the championship now fully electric, it’s a thrilling opportunity to witness the future of motorsport in action.
Alderman JP Smith expressed the City’s enthusiasm for hosting another world-class motorsport event, highlighting the inclusivity of the sport as it welcomes female talent like Klara Andersson, the first woman to claim a podium spot.
It’s a weekend of family-friendly fun both on and off the track, with fan merchandise, delicious food, autograph sessions, drifting exhibitions, gaming activations, stunt displays and a beer tent.
