Even as fully-fledged adults, the power of a classic Walt Disney movie is unmatched when it comes to taking us back to our beloved childhood days.
Perhaps with the excuse of taking the kids for a fun-filled outing, Capetonians are invited to relive precious Disney moments with a magical outdoor cinema experience in the Mother City, celebrating 100 years of Disney.

The Walt Disney Company marked its 100th anniversary in the middle of October and has been celebrating the fans and storytellers who have sparked the joy and magic that is Disney throughout the year with various events and activations.
This December, Disney fans of all ages are able to continue the celebrations as the Disney100 Outdoor Cinema Experience lands on the Croquet Lawn at the V&A Waterfront.
From Sunday, 7 December, to Sunday, 17 December, families are invited to experience the magic of Disney, with six timeless stories screened during the day or in special evening presentations.

The Disney movies being screened include The Lion King (2019 live action), Frozen 2, Encanto, The Incredibles 2, Finding Dory and The Greatest Showman.
To help unleash your inner child or add an extra dose of excitement for the kids, the V&A Waterfront is encouraging cinema-goers to come dressed up inspired by their favourite Disney characters and to join in on the various activations and activities on offer, in addition to enjoying the films.
Tickets cost R100, with a 20% special discount offered to FNB card holders, and are available on TicketPro.
