But that’s not all
Parents are welcome to bring a book or your work and enjoy a cup of tea at the tearoom while the little ones are exploring. Wifi will be available.
Once the day’s activities are done, kids are also welcome to stay for more fun and exploration. Langkloof Roses has so much more to offer.
Hiking trails are available for young and old alike. Move about the trails at your own leisure and enjoyment and take in the beautiful scenery all over. Or bring your own bicycle and explore the varied and challenging MTB tracks.
Explore the farmyard and identify some beautiful and interesting trees by going on a botanical tree excursion. Receive a tree map that can help you spot all the indigenous and exotic trees on the farm.
Get up close and personal with the Langkloof horses. Horse encounters will allow you to get to know the resident horses hands-on by caressing and plaiting their manes. Or have a truly exhilarating experience by going on a horseback ride.
If you’re not too sure about the horses, then opt for an interaction with one of the many other farm animals. Meet and feed chickens, geese, ducks, sheep and more.
Spend some time on the water and savour the beauty of the farm dam, teeming with fish, by rowing to a little willow-cladded island. Or rent a fishing rod and catch your own fish in the dam.
Finally, enjoy an adventurous and exciting treasure hunt all across the farm. This is an activity Mom and Dad can also participate in.
