On 2 July, 2023, reports of a dog buried alive were being passed around. Swift action by Inspector Lee Prins of the local SPCA saved the dog just in time from a horrible fate.
The dog, later named Courage, was suffering from extreme neglect. He was unvaccinated, un-neutered and severely underfed.

And his struggle for survival was far from over post-rescue. Plagued by untreated health issues like a life-threatening disease, an untreated skin condition and painful arthritis, Courage showed remarkable determination through every treatment.
The Mentoor Family stepped forward to welcome Courage into their home. Their love and care transformed his life; now, he experiences the warmth of understanding, unconditional love and unparalleled care.

In a recent update, the Mentoor Family shared their joy, detailing Courage’s delightful integration into their lives. He’s thriving, playing with their children, enjoying walks and is full of boundless energy.
