Authorities were alerted after a body was spotted at Rocklands Beach, Sea Point, earlier today.
Law Enforcement officers removed the body of an adult male from the water’s edge. The deceased was fully clothed in casual clothing, Peter Flentov of The Atlantic Seaboard Community Forum reports.
Another victim, a woman, drowned at Three Anchor Bay on Tuesday. Based on reports gathered then, Flentov believes that the body discovered today is that of a homeless man who drowned shortly before this.

‘Based on information I received on Tuesday, I believe that the body is that of a vagrant who drowned on Tuesday, shortly before the Three Anchor Bay woman drowned,’ he says.
The two tragedies are suspected to be linked, however, this is yet to be confirmed.
‘Shortly after Tuesday’s drowning, I received information that the woman had gone to investigate a report that a man had jumped into the sea at Rocklands Beach. It appears that it was while she was investigating that incident, that she was swept off the rocks and tragically drowned,’ the statement concludes.
