This comes amid the president’s review application at the Constitutional Court. ANC acting secretary general, Paul Mashatile, stated that there is no need for the report to be noted in its current state given Ramaphosa’s decision to file the court application.
Mashatile added that the matter would be discussed again once the court processes have concluded.
As reported by EWN, parliament is expected to sit to debate the Section 89 panel on Tuesday.
The report found that Ramaphosa might have violated his oath of office and the Prevention and Combatting of Corruption Activities Act.
It was also resolved that Ramaphosa would continue as the party and the country’s president.
While opposition parties set to file a motion of no confidence against Ramaphosa, Mashatile said no ANC MP would be supporting the motion.
