Van Zyl’s vision is to create a platform for other bakers to showcase and sell their products, fostering a supportive community in the culinary industry.
Cake Canteen provides a unique opportunity for artisans such as The Velvet Cake Co., Sweet LionHeart, and Mondvol to connect with customers in a tangible, face-to-face setting.
The Cake Residency will feature Andriette from Mondvol, a renowned Masterchef winner, and Christine from Cafe Chiffon. Guests are invited to enjoy a variety of delectable treats while conversing with these talented women, who have made significant contributions to the culinary scene.
