Vida e caffe has refreshed its summer menu, leaning into two trends shaping the food and beverage space: nostalgic flavours and functional drinks built for busy schedules, Cape {town} Etc reports.
The standout addition is the Cereal Milk range, which draws on the familiar ritual of drinking the sweet milk left behind in a cereal bowl. It arrives as both a beverage and a Cereal Milk Cookie, pairing a childhood association with a modern format.
On the functional side, Vida has expanded its hydration and energy options. The Revive Granadilla Frio combines tropical flavour with electrolytes, while the Red Bull Citrus Surge Frio blends lemon and strawberry with Red Bull Energy Drink. Whey protein has also been added to more hot and iced coffees, extending the chain’s protein offering beyond its existing lineup.
Food additions round out the update. A Chicken Phyllo Parcel joins the Spanakopita, and a Fold-Over Pizza Pocket offers a heartier grab-and-go option. On the bakery side, a Breakfast Muffin and a Blueberry Lemon Poppyseed Muffin have been added to the counter.
